SEEK

Take time to acknowledge what you are seeking God for.    Do you need strength or wisdom; are you struggling in your faith?  Are you finding yourself weak in your relationship with God or do you need delivernce from something.

MEDICATION

If you are taking mandatory medication

please do not stop taking your medicine.  If you can’t take the medicine on an empty stomach, please eat as required by your doctor, then began your fast.

BEHAVIOR

During the fast, we not only fast from food, we should also be watchful of our activities behaviors, and thoughts.  We should be careful what we

watch and listen to as well.

Our church fasts on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12 Midnight until 12 Noon. Join us for prayer on Facebook Live @ 12 Noon on those days as we touch and agree.

Philippians 4:6-8

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer

and supplication with thanksgiving

let your requests be known unto God.

Biblical Fasting

Biblical fasting is not a public display of your faith,

strenght, or fortitude.

To fast simply means to voluntarily abstain from eating

and or drinking for an extended period of time.

Matthew 17:21 - But this kind goes not out but

by prayer and fasting. One of the most telling passages in

which fasting is mentioned is Matthew 6:16-18, where Jesus

is teaching His disciples basic principles of Godly living.

Biblical fasting is a discipline and voluntary communion

with the Lord.  The practice of fasting builds focus and

awareness.  Fasting is a way to free yourself from the bonds

of what you want or think you need.

Fasting helps us with:  Spiritual Power (Mark 9:29),

it helps us achieve spiritual strenght in times of

weakness; Wisdom (Acts 14:23), it helps us achieve

spiritual clarity from God and not from our flesh

for purpose and direction; and fasting opens the

door for answers to prayer (Acts 10:30-31)

in times when we are struggling with major life

choices, overcoming addiction, or for any reason

that we may desire to strengthen our faith.

Also, remember Pastor Camm and our prayer team are here to pray for you.  Feel free to submit your prayer request according to Matthew 18:19 - "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
